A couple of the seed pearls to the front bezel are crazed but overall the case is in good condition. This is a fine example by this historic maker.

Enamel dials with different display in the writing of numerals, one of them with scuffs to the surface. Outer case with moss agate decoration in good condition, enamel parts well preserved, the cuvette opening on the back needs to be adjusted on one of them to close properly. Matching keys from the period in also well preserved condition. Overall this is a very well preserved example of a pair of watches made for the Chinese market, extremely rare to find on the watch market.

According to our research, the two last similar examples at auction were in the Time Museum and Belin Collection, both with identical shapes but different motifs, the present watch being slightly different and bigger in terms of length. This piece is an exceptionally rare watch made for the oriental market in a well preserved condition.
