Diam. 47 mm. Cette montre fait partie de la série intermédiaire de 1943 dite type C sur un ensemble de 7 séries allant de A à G et totalisant 8 montres différentes en tout. Les deux premières séries A et B ne sont pas signées Rolex mais simplement Oyster watch co , alors que les séries C et D sont signées toutes les deux dans leur fond de boîte Rolex SA . Dans ces deux dernières, le numéro de série est situé au dessus de la référence, alors que c'est l'inverse dans les deux premières. Dans ces 4 premières montres, le calibre 618 est signé Rolex 17 rubis sur le pont central et Fab Suisse pour fabrication suisse sur le pont de barillet. Dans les séries suivantes, ce dernier n'est pas marqué, seul le pont central reçoit les informations 17 rubis Fab Suisse et la signature Rolex n'est rajoutée que pourles modèles à destination non militaire, pour protéger les origines de fabrication. Cette Radiomir est dans un bel état général. Il est très rare de rencontrer un cadran Marina Militare avec la référence 3646. Elle est équipée de sa couronne.Brevet Suisse d'origine. Cadran luminescent type sandwich. Aiguilles bâtons, remontoir poire non vissé, fond vissé à décor d'un poisson-scie, de deux épées, d'une corde et d'un W. Mouvement mécanique 17 rubis signé Rolex. Diam. 46 mm. FINE AND VERY RARE STAINLESS STEEL CUSHION SHAPED MANUAL WINDING DIVER'S WRISTWATCH. Le poisson scie rieur était l'insigne personnel de Heinrich Willenbrock, dessiné par un de ses amis nommé Kossatz. Heinrich Lehmann-Willenbrock, né à Bremen en 1911, était commandant de la neuvieme flotille de U boote, Korvettenkapitän de la 9ème unterseebootsflotille, de mai 1942 à septembre 1944. Celle-ci était basée à Brest. Il s'est illustré en détruisant 24 navires alliés. Il a été décoré et fait chevalier de la croix de fer, surmontée de deux épées croisées, et décernée pour faits de guerre d'une extrême bravoure, deuxième récompense dans la hiérarchie des récompenses allemandes de l'époque. Willenbrock est considéré comme un des meilleurs marins de la bataille de l'Atlantique. Son rôle a été interprété par l'acteur allemand Jürgen Procknow en 1981 dans le film The Boat. Des photos représentent Willenbrock en compagnie de l'acteur lors du tournage, durant lequel il était conseiller, cinq ans avant sa mort.
