  Descrizione : An English ebonised striking bracket clock.Case circa 1700, movement and dial later.The case with foliate cast handle to foliate caste repoussé basket top, glazed sides and moulded base on four feet, the 7 in. sq. dial engraved John Miller, London on the silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring, matted centre, pierced blued steel hands, winged cherub spandrels, the five-pillar twin gut fusee movement with knife-edge verge escapement and rack strike on a bell, reconverted verge escapement, backplate profusely engraved with scrolling foliage, case circa 1700, movement circa 1780, dial of later date.15_ in.
