Cadran noir laqué avec index bâtons luminescents. Echelle de minuterie soulignée par des index pointes en or. A la place du classique Superlative Chronometer official certified est inscrit le nom de son destinataire Charles Baehni Société Genevoise d'instruments de Physique. Aiguilles dauphines. Grande trotteuse rouge. Mouvement automatique calibre 1040, évolution du 1030. Le fond fut changé en 1961 par un fond identique ref 6556 probablement lors d'un service. Cadran Boitier Mouvement signés Bracelet oyster riveté signé Rolex. Diam. 35mm La TRU-BEAT, tout comme la MILGAUSS, fait partie des véritables instruments scientifiques de la marque Rolex. La montre fut offerte en 1955 par le directeur de l'école d'horlogerie technique Neuchâteloise à Monsieur Charles Baehni ingénieur et ancien voyageur de la société genevoise d'instruments de Physique. Société spécialisée entre autre dans la réalisation et le réglage des machines à pointer , instruments typiques des écoles d'horlogerie. La montre proposée pour la première fois en vente aux enchères est extrêmement rare, elle est accompagnée d'une lettre de l'école d'horlogerie et d'un important livre dédié aux écoles suisses d'horlogerie.

  Description : The movement is running and dead-beat seconds are functioning, however we recommend service soon. It is numbered N823486. The dial is nice and clean with some very light surface spots, but overall very pretty. The case shows light wear with light surface scuffs and evidence that it has been polished at some point. The numbers between the lugs are 6556 and 138592 and inside the back is 6556 and I.56. The braclet is in nice condition with an overall length of 185MM. It is numbered 57 to the ends and 7205 to the end links as well as 2 69 to the buckle.
