  Description : Thomas Mudge and William Dutton, London;The flat topped hood with concave moulding over applied blind side panels and reeded canted front angles over a long solid trunk door with moulded edge on a base with applied panel on double stepped apron, the 10.25 inch square silvered dial with concentric minute band enclosing the subsidiary seconds dial and apertures for the hour and date, the bolt-and-shutter maintaining power lever at the right hand side, the robust movement with tall rectangular shouldered plates secured to the substantial oak seatboard by three heavy brass L-shaped brackets and united by six knopped and pinned pillars, with maintaining power to a five wheel train with high count pinions, terminating in a five-spoke 'scape wheel and deadbeat escapement with substantial rectangular section steel-rod pendulum with T-bar suspension and very heavy lenticular brass bob with engraved rating nut reading against an engraved silvered beat scale mounted to the backboard 1.84m high. (6ft) high.

  Description : C.Double-body outer and inner, both polished and marked H.T., the inner case with eccentric glazed calendar aperture. D. White enamel on the front with radial Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring. Small subsidiary revolving silver dial for the months partly covered by the small gold chapter ring of the dates which are pointed from the small revolving enamel centre. Gilt brass dust cap with calendar apertures. Blued steel poker and beetle hands, gold equation poker hand. M. Gilt bras full plate with turned pillars, fusee with chain and maintaining power, worm and wheel mainspring set-up, ruby cylinder escapement with brass escape wheel, polished steel plain three-arm balance with flat balance spring, gilt brass cock pierced and engraved with foliage and with diamond end-stone.
