  Descripción : The movement is running, however it might need service soon. We have not opened up the case back to check the movement directly, as we did not want to impose wear on the watch. The dial is very clean with no signs of wear. The case shows no signs of wear throughout. There are protective stickers to the outside of the case back. The bracelet is clean with no scratches. Overall this watch is in superb condition as it might have never been worn. It is an ideal piece for a Rolex collector. The bracelet has an overall length 180mm. The serial number is U100798.

  Descripción : SUBMARINER Ref: 16610 vers 1997 Très rare montre bracelet de plongée de la COMEX (Compagnie Maritime d'expertise)en acier, couronne et fond vissés, verre saphir. Cadran noir avec index ronds luminescents, aiguilles mercedes, dateur à 3 heures, logo COMEX au dessus de Submariner, lunette tournante unidirectionnelle. Mouvement automatique. Bracelet oyster avec boucle deployante FlipLock en acier signée Rolex. Cadran,boîtier et mouvement signés. Diam: 40 MM Vendue avec son écrin et ses papiers d'origine. * Henri Delauze ingénieur et plongeur de la COMEX à Marseille en 1961, persuadé de l'importance de la montre pour les plongeurs, il s'associe à Rolex pour réaliser l'outil horloger idéal. Fournisseur officiel de la COMEX de 1970 à 1977 les montres avaient toutes un numéro gravé dans le fond pour un meilleur suivi. Après une multitude de Submariner avec verre plexi, seulement deux références seront présentées en verre saphir, la réf 16800 fabriquée de 1982 à 1986 à 300 exemplaires et la réf: 16610 de 1986 à 1997 à seulement 150 exemplaires. La référence: 16800 Submariner date en acier classe 315 avec verre cyclope saphir La référence: 16610 Submariner date en acier class 904 avec verre cyclope saphir. La principale différence reconnue entre ces deux aciers, après de multiples tests, est la forte résistance à la corrosion du 904L par rapport au 315L. Cependant, le taux de nickel présent dans l'acier 904L le rend plus sensible aux rayures et aux chocs.
