An unusual silver purse watch.Signed Rolex, case no. 70823, ref. 1284, stamped with Glasgow import mark for 1929.With circular nickel-finished lever movement, 15 jewels, the silvered matte dial with luminous Arabic numerals, luminous hands, in square inner case with snap on back, all revolving within the plain outer case, case, dial and movement signed, case stamped W+D for Wilsdorf & Davis and with Glasgow import mark for 1929.38 mm. wide.Special Notice.Prospective buyers should be aware that the importation of Rolex watches into the United States is highly restricted.
